Welcome to my second stop on the 19 Amazing Mommy and Me Christmas Outfits sponsored by Petite Stitchery, Seamingly Smitten, 5 out of 4 Patterns, Aurora Designs Fabric and hosted by myself Seams Sew Lo! Please send the GIVEAWAY at the end of the post. My first stop I had made some adorable Sparkly Mommy and Me Ponchos by our sponsor Seamingly Smitten. They were so much fun.
Today! We are wearing the new Mommy and Me Lulu Dolmans Sewing Pattern (its on sale until the 11th!) by our sponsors Petite Stitchery in red and green! I used a gorgeous hunter green stretch velvet from our sponsor Aurora Designs too! The stretch velvet had a very nice weight and was fairly easy to work with. When working with velvet, it can be a bit slippery. I did serge the raw edges (without a seam allowance) of my cuffs and neckbands before adding them to the shirt.
I always like to try as many products from our sponsors as I can! I already knew I love the Lulu Dolman from Petite Stitchery. You can check out the Petite Stitchery Women’s Top Release Blog tour to see more ideas. This was my first time trying the girls lulu dolman and it is so cute too!!
I originally wanted to do sparkly gold or sparkly green sleeves, however Baby Girl wanted sparkly red! The fabric is a fun red sparkly metallic knit from Miss Nancy. I may have several of her sparkly knit fabrics. I thought if I let Baby Girl decide, she would be happier wearing it. I tried to do pictures the day I finished the top, but she refused to wear it because she wanted to wear pink. LOL! She is a bit obsessed right now with pink. She promised she would wear it today and she did, with smiles.
I had planned on making either the Seamingly Smitten Mommy and Me Leggings or the 5 out of 4 Patterns leggings, however I ran out of time and I already had these red velvet leggings I had made last year. The leggings pattern are the free Peg Legs pattern by Patterns for Pirates and the Free Bonny Legs by Made for Mermaids. Everything is so comfortable, I feel like I am wearing pjs today.
While I was viewing our photos on the my laptop, Baby Girl brought out some of her favorite toys on our fireplace. (Like the color of our fireplace, see my easy tutorial on how to paint your own fireplace.)
Saint Nicholas brought the kids these fun wooden Christmas cookie toys. Both of the kids love them. Baby Girl decided her favorite pink kitty from the Doc Mcstuffins vet carrier and her Skye Paw Patrol stuffed animal wanted some cookies.
Nom Nom Nom!! They were super hungry!! She loves when I take pictures of her toys. If you need some ideas to buy a toddler girl for Christmas, these are probably her most played with toys right now.
It is hard to see them in our Mommy and Me pictures, however we both have matching reindeer necklaces. I actually bought them last year, knowing she was too small to wear the necklace. I am glad I bought them though. They are so sweet and she loved having matching Mommy and Me necklaces. This is the best photo I could get, as she does not stop moving often.
We definitely had fun in our Mommy and Me Christmas Outfits! Please share with us your own Mommy and Me Christmas outfits!

I think your daughter did a great job picking the sparkly red, it looks great! 😊
Thanks!! I like her color choice as well 🙂
Adorable! So festive and these outfits look so comfy! Love the colors too! (But of course there’s nothing wrong with a little pink!) 😉
I just love these! They are so cute!
She is so cute <3
Oh Lo, these are so fun! I love that you sewed two outfit sets for Christmas. What a lucky girl!
The green velvet looks so luxurious – you are both like a pair of sparkly gemstones.
