Hello! It is my stop on the My Monster, A Sewing By Ti Blog Tour. I made something for my monster and ever used some fabulous Simply By Ti Fabric. Little Dude has gone through a growth spurt and he is desperate need of some new shirts, so I made him a fun new one.

Okay, so maybe I made him a funny Raglan. When I saw this Free SVG file (here), I knew Little Dude needed a new shirt! It says, “I eat organic (with organic crossed out), candy off the floor.” In all reality, Little Dude probably eats more organic, than candy off the floor. LOL! However, the SVG is just too funny!
I used the Boys Ragtag Raglan from Petite Stitchery & Co. You may find it here. The Raglan has a ton of cool color blocking options, however Little Dude prefers simple with less seams. I made a 4 with 5 length and the shirt fits him well!
The Back of the Ragtag Raglan Sewing Pattern fits well and the neckband went on so easily. I always love when the neckband turns out well. Sometimes it can be hit or miss!
The great news is he sleeves are not cut on the fold, so they fit great as well. The sleeves and the bodices have markings as well to match up, for easier sewing and better fit.
The white Double Brushed Polyester (DBP) fabric is from Simply by Ti (here). Little Dude approves of the softness of the DBP. He wants more shirts made of the same fabric.
Little Dude picked out the skeleton fabric last year for Halloween, however I am just now getting around to it. The skeleton fabric is from Joann Fabric and it is on super sale right now. So grab it now for next year here! The really cool part is it glows in the dark too!
Of course, Little Dude find a fun prop for the photos and the kids woodworking goggles even match the Orange HTV on his shirt. He is so silly and fun. We always have a lot of fun on these photo shoots. He has already learned if he stands there and gives me a great smile, taking pictures will be quick. I try not to overdue it, if he is cooperating. Then, I let him do some silly poses.
Like this one… He is doing one of his superhero or bad guy poses. Little Dude is often lost in his own imagination. He has a huge imagination, which is amazing, most of the time. LOL
Little Dude and I both definitely recommend the Ragtag Raglan sewing pattern by Petite Stitchery & Co (here).
