Happy Halloween Everyone!! Well I ended up running out of time this year and bought Baby Girl’s official Halloween costume. 🙁 I still plan on making her the Princess Aurora dress, however it will just be for dress up this time… Today, Baby Girl’s school has dress up as a superhero day. When I first told her about it, without hesitation she requested a Batgirl dress in purple and black.

Last night at 9 pm, my husband told me he is supposed to bring in chili to work today for a chili cook off… Umm.. I had a dress to finish! I made him a deal. If he went to the grocery store and picked up all the ingredients I would make him the chili, so he did. So, I completely multi-tasked last night and stayed up way too late. He loved the chili (I made this one) and Baby Girl absolutely loved her dress.
The great news is the Bianca Dress sewing pattern I used to make to use the Batgirl dress is only $1 at Ellie and Mac today! Yep!, grab the Bianca pattern here for only $1. Plus grab the other $1 Wacky Wednesday sewing patterns here, including the Boys Fly pants. You cannot beat this pattern for only $1. It is a boutique style dress sewing pattern for girls. I did skip one ruffle on the skirt, because I was tired and had to get up this morning to finish the chili and her leggings.
The leggings are the free Bonnie Legs sewing pattern by Made for Mermaids, here,
The gorgeous purple Cotton Lycra is from Simply By Ti. I have used this gorgeous for many projects and now that I shared some more with Baby Girl, I am going to need some more. 🙂 You can get some too here. The black pleather is from my fabric stash, however Simply By Ti does have some stretch pleather as well here.
The Batman SVG is from a Superhero bundle I purchased from son in the past, here. They are great files. I have used several.
