Welcome to my stop on the Rebecca Page Comfy Town Blog Tour.  Comfy Town blog tour?  Sign me up!  I live in comfy clothes all the time, especially in the winter time.  Brr!  I say Winter, technically we are still in Fall, however it sure feels like Winter!  It was only 19 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 Celsius)  when I took these pictures in a strappy cami. So cold!!

I did end up wearing this outfit to school drop off today. Does it count as dropping your kids off in pajamas when you have full makeup on?

You may remember my first pair Green Glitter French Terry Pippa Pants I made.  Or, maybe you saw my blog post showing how the Pippa Pants sewing pattern looks in different fabrics.  With all those the last thing I need is another pair of Pippa Pants.  The one thing I really wanted….  you guessed it…  another pair of Pippa Pants!

So that is what I did!  I made myself another pair of Pippa Pants.

There are a few things I love about the Pippa Pants.  The first is I love the fit!  Second is they are super easy and fast!  I can whip these up in less than 30 minutes.  Third, is the Pippa Pants sewing pattern is so versatile.  You can dress them up or make them oh so comfy.  The comfy version is my favorite!

Here is the derriere view of the Pippa Pants.  The sewing pattern is well drafted.  I used this adorable Penguin Christmas Fabric from Joann Fabric.  It is from the Doodles line.  I know may people ask what they can make with Doodles fabric, as it does retain stretch.  The Pippa Pants are perfect.  Well, all except for the waistband.  I used some Cotton Lycra from Simply by Ti for the waistband.

A new sew for me is the Rebecca Page Strappy Cami.  I love camis.  I used a waffle knit fabric I received in a sweater box from Sincerely Rylee.  It is lightweight and super comfy.  The Fabric does not have much spandex, so it gives the cami a looser fit.  I am not a big fan of tight shirts, my stomach bloats so easily and people start asking if I am pregnant.  🙁   The Strappy Cami is available free with a subscription to Rebecca Page.

I have a feeling I will be wearing this outfit a lot the next few months.  So, no little coffee mug for me.  My big huge Zak Tumbler is my go to in the mornings.  It works just as well as a Yeti, however for a lot less.  Except, I do not drink coffee, mine is usually full of green tea or warm lemon water.  If you look closely, you can even see the steam coming out of my mug.  I am glad to be back inside!

  1. Oh my gosh that’s an adorable outfit! The style of the pants is so nice that even in a really cute novelty fabric they don’t scream pajama pants they just look super cute and fun
