Baby Girl loves her new dress. I used the School is Cool dress sewing pattern, here, by Ellie and Mac. The sewing pattern is currently 50% off, no coupon code needed! It is one of her favorite dress sewing patterns. Last night, she wanted to wear it to bed, because she loved her new dress. Fortunately, I was able to convince her to change into pajamas, but she is wearing the dress today!
The Better Together Skin Tone Rainbow Fabric panel was a great converstaion starter. Last night, we discussed how the rainbow represents the diffent skin tones of people. This morning, I was curious to see if anything we spoke about sunk in, so I asked if she knew what the rainbow represented. She happlily replied, “It means we can be freinds with people of all kinds of skin tones.” What a great reply for a 5 year old.
I may have bribed Baby Girl with a baby doll tea party today to try to grab some more pictures, however she was more into playing than posing for pictures. 🙂 I am going to go ahead and grab a skin tone rainbow panel for myself today, go grabs yours here!
I absolutely adore this print! It’s subtle yet powerful, like a gentle roar if that makes sense, lol. And the little model makes it shine. Cheers!
Yes, I agree. I love the way you explain it! Thank you, she is my little sunshine!
